Attorney Bobby Aniekwu was the President of CISA from January 2020 through December 2021.

He is the Principal Attorney and sole owner of a professional law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. The firm, which has been in existence for 28 years, specializes in professional negligence (medical malpractice), corporate & white collar crimes, labor and employment civil rights matters, transactional and trial litigation aspects of business, nonprofit and commercial law, investment & securities law, nonprofit and commercial corporate governance matters, estate/wills & trusts, director liability, federal & state tax law issues, international law and high finance.

He is admitted and licensed to practice in the state and superior courts of Georgia, State of Georgia Court of Appeals, State of Georgia Supreme Court, the United States federal district courts, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals of the United States, the United States Supreme Court, United States Tax Court and a special enrollment to practice before the United States Department of the Treasury (I.R.S). He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA – 1980) in finance/health administration), a Master of Taxation (M.Tx – 1986) and a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D. – 1986) with specialization in taxation & corporate law degrees from the Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA. He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA – 1982 in Finance & Banking) degree from the Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama.

He also holds multiple professional licenses in general securities investments (Series 7 – stocks, bonds, options, limited partnerships, margin transactions), mutual funds (Series 6), state blue sky laws (Series 63), variable annuity products license, life, accident and variable life insurance licenses. He is also a chartered financial consultant (Ch.F.C), a Fellow of the United States National Tax Practice Institute (F-NTPI), and accredited tax advisor (ATA), and a Registered Representative. He is the National Chair of the United States Diaspora Affiliate of the Alaigbo Development Foundation (“ADF”) and, he holds the traditional title of Ozo Ikenga Owa I na Owa na Asaa. He belongs to multiple professional organizations and serve in various professional and nonprofit boards.

Dr. Aniekwu is originally from Owa Imezi town in Ezeagu LGA, Enugu State, Nigeria. He is one of 9 children produced by his now deceased parents. He grew up in and attended the College of Immaculate Conception (“C.I.C”) in Enugu. He is married with two children.
