African Igbo Heritage Preservation and Promotion Program
This program consists of three segments: (1) Showcase and support for African Igbo cultural heritage. (2) Material culture collection and preservation for posterity. (3) Support for cultural exchange and tourism that facilitates cultural knowledge and friendships across nations.

Ongoing activities include:
Organize the annual Igbo World Festival of Arts, Language and Culture, which showcases African Igbo cultural heritage to a worldwide audience.
Identify talented / skilled artists and promote such artists to a larger audience.
Prepare educational materials (books, articles, photos, videos, presentations, etc.) for people interested in learning more about African Igbo history and culture.
Provide many ways for people to participate in cultural activities: ceremonies, classes, performance arts, Reconnection and Naming ceremonies, and more.
Support cultural heritage tourism that allows travelers to have firsthand accounts of the lives and traditions of Igbo people and other indigenous communities in Africa and Diaspora.
Collect, document and preserve material culture for posterity.
Successes / Impact
In less than seven years since its debut, the annual Igbo World Festival organized by CISA has earned a reputation as the most popular event showcasing African Igbo cultural heritage in Diaspora.
