Igbo Village Virginia Trip -3

The second to last day was the day that the big performances happened. It took everyone back to their homeland. One thing I will not forget is how when we performed, everyone was on their feet and cheering us on and the crowd was so loud for us that even the organization called: Express Igbo interviewed us and our dance teacher Mrs. Queenette Ohaya.

It was a happy moment and I was proud of our group. More than anything, the dance performances, the masquerade, skits were my favorite part of the trip.
