The Reconnection: How Igbos Separated by Space and Time are Finally Re-connecting

The Reconnection is a documentary that chronicles:

(1) The forced separation (through slavery) of Igbos from their homeland in southeastern Nigeria to America

(2) The contributions of these Igbos to the economic development of America

(3) Centuries later, the discovery and/or confirmation by some African Americans of their Igbo ancestral roots through DNA testing, and

(4) The re-connection of these African Americans with their living relatives in Nigeria and Diaspora.
