Dr. Edward Nwachi – President Emeritus

Dr. Edward Nwachi

Dr. Edward Nwachi was the president of CISA from January 2016 through January 2018. He is currently the chairman of CISA’s Fundraising Committee and special adviser to CISA’s President.

He is a graduate of the University of Benin, Nigeria and the George Washington University Law School, Washington DC. His professional and public service background includes:

Senior adviser to the president, Coalition for Justice and Peace in Africa (a nonprofit organization working with African governments, civil society organizations and others to improve the legal justice systems across Africa)

Founder, EbonyiOnline.com and AfikpoOnline.com (web portals showcasing African/Nigerian/Igbo culture, towns, attractions, businesses and more)

President Emeritus, Afikpo Organization Inc. (a charitable organization that promotes Igbo culture and provides free medical services to 2,000 people annually)

Director, Teaching Igbo Cultural Heritage in Africa and Diaspora (TICHAD)
